Top 5 Photo and Video Apps on iOS in Europe, Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the top photo and video applications on the iOS platform in Europe showcased varied performance metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower.

CapCut - Video Editor from Bytedance Pte. Ltd witnessed a consistent growth in weekly revenue, peaking at around $2.7M by the end of September. The app’s weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately 550K in mid-August. Meanwhile, its weekly active users maintained a robust presence, closing the quarter with nearly 19.7M users.

Instagram experienced a decline in weekly revenue, falling to about $200K by late September. Downloads also saw a slight decrease, ending the quarter at around 239K. However, Instagram's active user base remained stable, with over 56M weekly users throughout the quarter.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor showed a positive trend in weekly downloads, which rose to approximately 316K in mid-September. Revenue saw a steady increase, culminating at nearly $1.5M by the end of September. Active users also grew significantly, reaching over 6.6M.

YouTube from Google maintained strong weekly revenues, peaking at about $8.4M in the final week of September. Downloads were stable, hovering around 211K towards the end of the quarter. The app had a massive active user base, consistently over 144M.

Snapchat from Snap, Inc. saw its weekly revenue rise to approximately $3.1M by the end of the quarter. Downloads were relatively stable, ending at around 210K. Snapchat's active users slightly decreased, closing at about 39.6M.
